How can you log in to communipedia using your personal OpenID?
Log in in 2 steps:
- 1. store your personal OpenID in communipedia
- 2. verify this personal OpenID on the website of the external provider
- Now, communipedia has assigned your OpenID to your profile and you can log in using your OpenID at any time.
Which OpenID providers are there on the internet?
There are many different OpenID providers on the internet. Every identity provider operates in a different way but here is a list explaining you how to store your personal OpenIDs according to the provider:
Wordpress:
- Log in to WordPress and do not close the window.
- Open a new window and log in to communipedia. Click on OpenID. Copy your WordPress URL. Paste it in the communipedia field Add a new OpenID. Then click on Add.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click on Yes. Your OpenID is now assigned to your profile.
- Log in toTechnorati and do not close the window.
- Open a new window and log in to communipedia. Click on OpenID. Copy your Technorati URL (e.g. http://technorati.com/people/technorati/username). Paste it in the communipedia field Add a new OpenID. Then click on Add.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click on Yes. Your OpenID is now assigned to your profile.
- Log in to communipedia. Click on OpenID. Enter your blogger URL in the field Add a new OpenID (e.g. http://name.blogspot.com/). Then click on Add.
- The blogger website appears. Log in to blogger with your google account.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click on Yes. YourOpenID is now assigned to your profile.
- Log in to communipedia. Click on OpenID. Enter your livejournal URL in the field Add a new OpenID (e.g. http://name.livejournal.com/). Then click on Add.
- The livejournal website appears. Log in to livejournal.
- A confirmation prompt appears. Click on Yes. YourOpenID is now assigned to your profile.
